Financial Analyst

Telemecanique Sensors, a YAGEO company, has more than 90 years of expertise and is recognized as a worldwide specialist in the field of sensors. We cover the wide environment of sensors from electro-mechanic to electronic products and from detection to identification and distance measurement. We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst in our Dayton, Ohio location to manage plant controlling and back-office finance operations for North America.

Main responsibilities:

50% Plant

• • Maintain all aspects of the plant general ledger.
  • Manage and report plant financials
  • Identify and resolves various day to day issues within accounting processes and/or product costing models
  • Responsible for maintaining Productivity / MBC / Capital Expenditure / Inventory
  • Regulary perform and maintain Margin Analysis (Analysis of Change / Standard Costing & Variance Analysis), Product Profitability Analysis and Project Profitability Analysis

50% Front Office

• • Prepare financial statements and reports on current company financial position.
  • Monitor the general/sub ledger accounting
  • Apply knowledge of financial principles to ensure completeness, accuracy, and conformity of financial information with local regulatory requirements
  • Analyze and perform complex account reconciliation
  • Assist in day to day activities

Qualifications:

• Experience

Various accounting positions in accounting & audit, with at least 5 years in senior accounting

Experience in M&A and startup companies, building processes and procedures

• Education level – Master degree in accounting - CMA / CPA -
• Language: English
• Skills:
  • IT:       SAP ledgers, advanced Excel
  • Technical accounting skills
  • Soft skills: Business acumen, Communication skills with a large range of internal / external support functions (audit firms, legal, business), personal development ambitions, agile and reactive, ownership- and achievement-oriented.
