Financial Analyst  

This role will provide cost accounting knowledge and analysis to multiple stakeholders with high level of complexity, works independently on most complex assignments and can identify issues and/or recommend and implement solutions, training other professionals. This role will contribute to the reliability of the books in his/her scope of responsibility and accuracy of product cost, allowing certification by auditors. Ensures compliance with BMA, IFRS and Group guidelines.  Is also responsible for the budget, forecast, analysis and financial support for their areas of responsibility. 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Act as a Finance and Controlling business partner for Glyphosate and its intermediate products.  

  • Support annual financial planning, forecasting, monthly closing, cost reviews, and financial reporting for assigned business areas.  

  • Ensure strong internal controls and compliance, coordinating with internal and external auditors.  

  • Develop and present financial plans and performance insights at site and business levels.  

  • Identify and drive cost management, continuous improvement, and special project initiatives.  

  • Support balance sheet optimization and return-on-capital improvement efforts.  

  • Deliver financial training and build financial acumen across site and plant teams.  

  • Challenge existing business practices to enhance efficiency and results.  

  • Promote streamlined, standardized processes aligned with policies and corporate guidelines 

 

WHO YOU ARE 

  

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: 

  

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field 

  • 3+ years of experience   

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting systems, product costing, and corporate accounting policies.  

  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office; promotes use of digital tools to improve efficiency.  

  • Analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen skills with attention to accuracy and detail.  

  • Effective communicator and collaborator across all organizational levels and global teams.  

  • Proven ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams, fostering a “no-silo” mindset. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • CPA or MBA preferred   

  • Experience in finance or cost accounting within a manufacturing environment  

  • Experience in Life Sciences or Agribusiness, familiarity with Bayer Group reporting standards 

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $83,173.60 - $124,760.40. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits
