Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 87,500 sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees. 

Job Description

  • Operational controlling of financial key figures and non-financial influencing variables; Advising the site management on economic issues to achieve short-, medium- and long-term location goals.
  • Assisted consolidation of site-specific operational and strategic planning (budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning).
  • In cooperation with the Plant Controller, determination and evaluation of economic risks (risk management), creation of scenarios and corresponding measures that contribute to the achievement of objectives and support in their implementation (e.g. within the framework of business plans or business cases)
  • Creation of analyses and reports according to specifications
  • Control of projects on the controlling side (e.g. for relocations or new projects)
  • Ensuring defined reporting at the site (especially monthly reviews)
  • Initiation and implementation of cost reduction and yield increase projects, management of such projects
  • Regular comparison and consolidation of the degree of target achievement per defined controlling unit (e.g. BU, PU, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 2 years of experience in a Finance role.
  • Good knowledge in the following areas: accounting, financial and investment planning, profitability calculation, cost structure analyses, reporting and business intelligence.
  • Basic technical understanding to evaluate the value chain, opportunities for influence, etc.
  • Basic knowledge in the areas of project management, risk analysis and personnel controlling.
  • Good communication skills, especially in complex situations
