Finance Analyst- Payments

General Area of Responsibility:

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for overseeing and managing payments by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices for all Caribbean markets. This role requires a high level of expertise in financial operations and a strong focus on customer service to ensure efficient and accurate payment processes.

Specific Areas of Responsibility:

Your main tasks will include:

• Execute and book the manual payments, including scheduling and preparing wire transfers/check requests, and follow up to resolve payment discrepancies, and documentation.
• Manage and update accounts payable and perform reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in the review of expenses that support the payments as requested, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Verify and reconcile vendor accounts by reviewing monthly statements and related transactions.
• Conduct and review bank transactions that need to be booked related with payments.
• Review the weekly proposal of regular payments prepared by GSC.
• Perform and oversee intercompany invoices for cross charges as needed.
• Complete and ensure compliance with assigned controls – RICC.
• Provide support for external audits as required, ensuring timely and accurate information is available.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to financial management.

Customer Focus:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth payment processes and resolve any issues promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to payments and expenses in a timely and professional manner.
• Continuously improve payment processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
