Finance Analyst - Commercial Purchasing

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly Best Estimates and actual process
• Consolidating information from all divisional controllers to be presented to senior management
• Perform variance analysis and explanations
• Purchasing P&L management and MCM database reporting
• Finance lead on tariff accrual and payment process
• Acting as liaison between purchasing operations and every respective finance function (purchasing, finance, accounting, treasury, etc.)
• Supporting commodity controllers/divisions in achievement of their business plan and forecast targets (economics and savings)
• Acting as North America finance representative within extended global purchasing team

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Minimum 5 years of related experience
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in order to guide purchasing operations
• Motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently and multi-task 
• Excellent written, oral and listening communication skills 
• Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the general purchasing processed and big picture view of the product cost development process
• Understanding of basic accounting
• Familiarity with SOX and audit requirements
