POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a student interested in a Finance and Accounting internship opportunity located at our Propulsion Technical Center in Auburn Hills, MI.

The PowerDrive Systems Finance and Accounting Intern is primarily responsible for assisting the PDS financial analysts with various projects related to month-end close and the budget.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Creates and enters journal entries and maintains appropriate support for same.
• Assists in a timely and accurate month-end closing, forecasting for the RU and OneStream for the BU.
• Prepares Banks reconciliations for the BU.
• Creates or modifies OneStream retrieves for use in reporting and analysis by other finance team members.
• Prepares account reconciliation for the Balance Sheet accounts
• Supports various activities related to preparing data for presentation to Headquarters.
• Project a positive and service-oriented face to your customers.
• Considers and seeks out the impact of his/her actions within the team.  
• Actively seeks collaboration with internal and external team members.
• Responsible for completion of special assignments as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Undergraduate/Graduate student attending an accredited university with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting
• Must have and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Must have availability to work a minimum of 25-29 hours per week.
• Must be proficient in Excel
• Must be detail oriented
