Greenheck is looking for an experienced Tester to join the end of our assembling line in our DOAS facility. Greenheck is a climate-controlled environment that offers a safe & clean work environment that fosters growth and career development.

 

The Details:

Pay: $26.63
Hours: 6:00AM – 2:00PM or 6:30AM – 2:30PM, depending on the facility.

 

General Summary

This position is the end of line tester, technical trainer, and utility. The primary responsibility for these roles is to complete final testing/quality checks on assembled products, provide technical training to new employees, and provide advanced operating abilities in critical plant areas.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines while performing duties and operating equipment
• Perform final testing on assembled products to confirm operation and quality
• May provide work leadership including resolving routine materials problems
• Braze refrigerant systems based on SOP’s, quality standards, and trainings
• Work from blueprints, engineering plans, specifications, and machining parameters
• Use independent judgement to manufacture products according to established specifications
• Setup or adjust equipment according to specifications
• Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
• Maintain accurate daily production records
• Weld together metal components working from blueprints and pre-determined specifications
• Use a range of hand and power tools

Position Qualifications:

• Ability to pass the required criminal background check and drug screen
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics
• Ability to operate basic hand/power tools and measuring devices
• Strong attention to detail
• 1-2 years of electrical and/or HVAC testing experience (preferred)
