Filling Operator - Swing Shift

Description

Intermountain Blending & Filling (a sister company of Scentsy) is looking for a Filling Operator to ensure IBF’s manufactured products are produced with a high level of quality.

Hours are 2:45pm-11:15pm

What You Will Do:

• Ensure products exiting labeling machine are labeled correctly
• Examine product quality for mislabeling, splash, cracks and other defects
• Clean splash off of acceptable product, fix items that have been mislabeled and move product through production
• Discard defective product in appropriate locations
• Remove product as it exits machine and place in box, cover full box and place on pallet
• Maintain work flow through manufacturing department while maintaining quality and pace
• Occasionally assist with box construction
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

We're Looking For:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Up to 1+ years working in a manufacturing environment
• Clear and direct written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Make decisions within a limited scope
• Ability to Follow detailed instructions
• Basic customer service skills
• Ability to efficiently perform multiple tasks
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to stay awake and alert during late night hours (as applicable)
• Understand basic equipment operations
• Ability to frequently stand, perform repetitive manual dexterity, have both arms and legs accessible and occasionally bend, sit, squat, crawl, walk, and reach above shoulder level
• Ability to frequently read and comprehend, communicate orally and occasionally write, perform calculations and reason and analyze
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work around moving machinery
• Ability to work around strong scents
• Must have basic knowledge of computers and all applicable software
