Field Technician-OCONUS

Nightwing is seeking a highly motivated Field Engineer to join a dynamic and mature program. The qualified Field Engineer will support a diverse facility and technology requirements, and the ideal candidate must have a broad range of experience supporting fast paced, quick reaction program requirements. This is a full time OCONUS position.
Candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Deploy to OCONUS site with the opportunity for rest and relaxation (R&R) every 3-4 months throughout the year
Provide full-time operations and maintenance (O&M) support to Nightwing facilities while coordinating with the campus O&M team for a wider range of building needs
Support mechanical and electrical systems recapitalization efforts, O&M, modifications, and status/metrics reporting
Maintain as-built designs, ensuring all site changes are recorded and documented properly
Analyze data from site monitoring systems to support expansion and improve efficiencies
CLEARANCE Requirement: TS/SCI with CI Poly. Must be willing to upgrade
Required Skills
4+ years relevant hands-on experience with two or more of the following:
Installation and maintenance of diverse electrical or heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
Installation of wires, conduits and pipes to complete facility infrastructure
Perform general and preventative maintenance on electrical or HVAC systems
Adhere to set standards for all installations
Interpret construction documents, wire identification and tagging, bending long radius conduit
Pre-startup maintenance on motors; troubleshooting of control and lighting systems
Experience working in a secure environment (SCIF) and understanding the regulations for maintaining accreditation
Single-handedly lift and carry 45-pound systems and be capable of prolonged use of site equipment (e.g., hand tools, power tools, disintegrators, and degaussers)
Familiarity with safety rules and first aid procedures
