The Role: Field Support Specialist 


Who You Are:  


You will be responsible for a variety of tasks focused on providing our field technicians and subcontractors with tools and resources to perform their daily functions. You will serve as a liaison between subcontractors, field technicians, and internal departments to coordinate support activities from clerical to logistics.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Collaborates with the warehouse, field, and other stakeholders involved in product shipments and receipts.
  • Coordinate with management to ensure routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs for company vehicles are completed per company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all fleet vehicles. 
  • Respond to driver inquiries, concerns, and requests for assistance in a timely and professional manner.
  • Review and analyze fleet data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with operations and finance departments to lease new vehicles and equipment as needed.
  • Process sim card activation requests on a standby frequency and providing continued support to the field. 
  • Processing subcontractor labor invoices in compliance with company policies. Resolving all invoice inquiries and raising escalations as needed. 
  • Process installation permit requests by submitting installation permits to relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with local regulations, while tracking and communicating the status of permits.
  • Perform inventory transfers as needed to ensure that field teams have the necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Prepare regular reports on operational metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assists in supporting monthly full physical inventory audits.
  • Collaborates with other departments to address and resolve processing discrepancies.
  • Ensures smooth onboarding of technicians and subcontractors, confirming they have the necessary resources and equipment for success.
  • Engages with employees, vendors, and stakeholders with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.

What You’ll Bring: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • At least 2 years of processing work experience; fleet coordination, logistics, and financials preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with inventory management software.
  • Proven experience in technical support or customer service, preferably in a field support or helpdesk environment.
  • Good technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
