Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual… 

To join our team as a Field Supervisor, supporting various residential energy efficiency programs in the state of Iowa! In this role, you will oversee a local team of 4-6 employees to help homeowners improve energy efficiency. Success in this role requires experience in project management, operations, and leading in-field teams to achieve program goals.

Successful Candidates will be located in the Des Moines area.

• ​Lead, train, and support a team of 4-6 field staff with technical expertise and operational efficiency

• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to meet program needs

• Oversee processes to ensure projects stay on schedule

• Oversee the daily operation of teams conducting residential energy audits, installing energy-efficient equipment, pre/post-installation verifications, and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory 

• Provide technical guidance on installation, configuration, and adaptations per client and manufacturer specifications.

• Review inspection results, customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements and compliance measures 

• Troubleshoot escalated technical problems and issues in accordance with client specifications 

• Offer real-time technical support to field staff

• Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers 

• Share project updates and insights with program staff and management

• Travel throughout a defined territory on an as-needed basis in a provided vehicle

• Collaborate with the Call Centre and Program Management Team for seamless program execution 

Exciting candidates have… 

• 3 years of leadership experience, preferably in a field service setting 

• Industry experience preferred – including auditing, home inspections, home equipment installation 

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid driver's license

• BPI Certification is a plus 

Driving 

• Are at least 21 years of age 

• Valid driver's license

Target Compensation:

$71,000 / Annually + annual bonus incentive

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.
