A DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Facilitate the implementation of clinical tests for in-development products, including setup, execution, and monitoring.
  • Ensure adherence to study protocols and timelines.
  • Collect, record, and manage data from clinical tests, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of study activities, including test plans and results, subject information, and protocol deviations.
  • Communicate effectively with study participants, addressing any questions or concerns and providing necessary instructions.
  • Monitor and report on study progress, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations from the protocol.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical researchers, regulatory affairs, and project managers.
  • Adhere to regulatory, clinical, and human factors requirements and quality standards.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

YOU’RE AWESOME AT:

1. Knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and relevant regulatory guidelines related to human subject research preferred. Bonus: Tandem Device suite familiarity.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies as they arise.
  • Proven experience in clinical or device testing, with a strong understanding of experimental design, study protocol development, and implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and facilitate field studies involving in-development products.
  • Exceptional documentation skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

2. Minimum certifications/educational level:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.

3. Minimum experience:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a clinical, lab, testing environment, preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The starting base pay range for this position is $25.48 - $27.88 per hour. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate’s location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package that includes bonus, equity, and a robust benefits package.
