Position Overview:
This position will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining digital photo enforcement equipment for a municipalities in the Baltimore, MD area. The technician must insure that the equipment within the region maintain strict standards. This position will require strong attention to detail, a high level of quality, proficiency, dependability and demonstrated priority and time management. This position is part of our Field Service Team.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensure proactive routine maintenance deadlines are met while keeping active equipment above contractual requirements.
- Work closely with multiple internal and external teams to identify and resolve customer related issues resulting from equipment deficiencies.
- Initiate internal escalations, as necessary.
- Work closely with Maintenance Field Supervisor to keep service levels high.
- Perform daily checks of enforcement systems to confirm operations and monitor all systems as equipment dictates.
- Monitor and document the timely completion of monthly validation program, work with field supervisors to adapt procedures to match equipment demands as technology evolves.
- Provide installation support for new approach builds on construction sites.
- Ability to travel within the Washington DC region, including Maryland and Virginia for job duties with short notices.
- Other duties and/or responsibilities assigned by the Verra Mobility Leadership Team.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to navigate and operate throughout the Washington DC urban environment in a work vehicle.
- 1-2 Years of related work experience
- Experience in network installation, and computer technology.
- Ability to work outside with minimal supervision.
- Valid drivers license with good driving required is required.
- Must be willing to submit to and return clean enhanced police background check.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Great multi-tasking skills, effective organizational skills and strong time management mindset.
