Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to SNC customers in order to give quick problem assessment and corrections for field units.
- Responsible for documenting all customer interactions and must implement and/or support implementation for hardware, software, or training issue changes according to approved SNC instructions.
- Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled hours. Other duties as assigned.
- Travel to remove locations worldwide with relatively short notice.
- Perform assigned maintenance task with minimal to no supervisory guidance/oversight.
- Follow guidance of shift lead supervisor for daily taskings/expectorations/priorities.
Must-Haves:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 10 years of relevant experience and 2 years of experience in a lead role
- A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Ability to understand and interpret complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
- Advanced experience with the practical application of troubleshooting techniques
- Advanced electrical wiring skills
- Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time
- Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally
- Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
- Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 90/90 or 90/45 rotation
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a Lead role; the ability to mentor, train, guide and inspect the work of subordinates
- Experience with FCC or FCC GROL
- Prior experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+
- Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pilot Static Equipment gauges
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
