Field Service Technician

Description

The Conrad Company, a family-owned business located in York, PA, is looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to serve customers with their electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs and installations. The Technician will work out of our GreasePoint facility in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

· Assemble hydraulic hoses and fittings.

· Repair and install industrial hydraulic and electrical systems.

· Listen to customer's needs and interpret solutions for their breakdowns.

· Diagnose errors and technical problems and determine positive solutions

· Provide excellent customer service.

· Promote products and services to customers and potential customers

· Produce timely and detailed service reports.

· Some work out of town, weekends, and some overnight stays may be needed to complete a job.

· Normal hours are 7-4 but may change daily depending on the job.

Requirements

· Put safety first

· Be flexible and willing to learn

· Experience in Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repair to hit the ground running

· Experience with industrial machinery and repair

· Mig welding and fabrication skills preferred

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

· Willing to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on call if needed

· Clean driving record
