We are seeking a customer-centric, hands-on and motivated teammate to help us build a more secure environment and achieve operational excellence.

As a member of the Brown & Brown Information Technology team, you will provide internal support for employees and maintain infrastructure at a local office as well as several remote offices.  The role requires a good combination of technical and customer services skills.

General Responsibilities:

• Support the IT infrastructure for a department or office including the physical network, servers, phones, desktops/laptops and corresponding peripherals

• Review and report on existing vulnerabilities

• Work with SecOps team to remedy open vulnerabilities

• Proactively apply patches and updates to applicable software/hardware

• Test updates and patches prior to deploying into production

• Perform routine maintenance of security and endpoint management applications

• Coordinate and support the use of audio and video equipment in conference rooms

• Deploy new tools and technologies as needed

• Maintain high security awareness across the end user base

• Identify and automate processes to improve customer service

• Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records

• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Windows desktop environments, Win 10 and Office 365 Suite, InTune, and Azure AD

• Working knowledge on laptop encryption, backup, anti-virus, security vulnerabilities

• Experience with remote desktop support tools, VPN and VDI environments

• Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users

• Knowledge of Information Security, Network Security, Firewall Administration, System Administration
