This position supports the Diagnostic Imaging Systems business within the greater Birmingham, AL area. This position will be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and Diagnosis and Treatment imaging solutions at customer sites.
Your role:
- Building, deploying and/or integrating diagnostic imaging solutions.
- Collaborate on fulfilling technical implementation deliverables such as detailed design documentation, system build, configuration, and testing.
- Based on customer requirements, serves as a consultant to provide technical recommendations that best suit the environment
- Resolve technical issues and offer proactive technical support.
- Documentation of solutions to ensure support teams and other consultants can participate in support and onward development.
- Represents Philips professionally in both customer and internal team situations.
You're the right fit if:
- Located in the Birmingham, AL area.
- Previous field service experience with diagnostic equipment required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 5 years' experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a field service environment.
- 4+ years of experience servicing electronic equipment required; field service in a hospital setting and/or healthcare environment is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of computers and networking; PC competency to include utilization of Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment, including knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and site drawings with minimal assistance.

Philips Transparency Details
The hourly pay range for this position is $30.63 to $52.50. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
