CSCS OKPOSITION SUMMARY:
A Quality Technical Coach is a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional responsible for performing and/or overseeing specialized and complex vehicle repairs adhering to OE policies and procedures. This role is responsible for safety, quality, and compliance with manufacturer standards. The Field Quality Technical Coach also plays a vital role in the Caliber OE programs, including but not limited to OE certifications and the Caliber Transit Repair Programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Coach technicians, service advisors, and leadership to ensure that repair processes meet OE repair procedures and include, but are not limited to, OE certifications corresponding with OE specifications.
Utilize a standard of quality program tool to assess and document the repairs according to OE standards.
Follow up with center teammates regarding repairs in person or through conference calls.
Recommend and coordinate necessary training for areas of need based on quality reviews.
Partner with, build alliances and perform liaison activities with the executive team and field leadership.
Complete facility inspections assigned and submitted reports which may include submitting documentation and photos.
Recommend repair or replacement of tools, equipment, and materials as necessary.
Deliver standardized training on specific collision tools and equipment.
Deliver Quality reports to the center and operation leadership to ensure accountability and success of processes, equipment, and training verification.
Maintain a reporting structure that readily monitors performance indicators and certification eligibility.
Create actionable plans with your Quality Manager to improve processes and procedures and accomplish objectives, including success metrics and deliverables.
Alignment of top-down vision, goals, and objectives from business strategy to successful completion of center objectives.
Facilitate visits to centers with the OE certification Team to verify equipment, tools, and training needs for teammates.
Build market relationships to build trusted repair collaboration.
Represent Caliber with integrity and professionalism.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Proficiency in using collision repair equipment and diagnostic instruments.
Basic working knowledge of CCC One, Estimating Systems ALLDATA.
Working knowledge (or the ability to attain within 6 months) of Excel,
