Field Operations Assistant

Preload is seeking a Field Operations Assistant to join their team. This person will assist the Field Operations Manager with the overall operations in the field and be knowledgeable about all aspects of field construction. Pay is starting in the $45/hr range with subsistence and competitive benefits.

• Keep management informed of troubled spots in advance before major problems occur and propose solutions.
• Assist with making recommendations on how to increase efficiencies (i.e., evaluate current workforce, save money, reduce on-site time, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Support the Operations team in developing, setting, and executing department goals to support Preload’s Mission Statement.
• Assist with writing and communicating policies and procedures to the field department.
• Assist with updating the internal operation procedures document, as needed.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager to schedule team meetings and provide follow-ups.
• Assist the Operations Manager to manage and resolve operational issues.
• Store, file, and retrieve corporate documents and reports, as needed.
• Perform general office administrative duties, including maintaining logs and spreadsheets for all office activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or 2 years field experience in the concrete tank construction business.
• Must have basic computer knowledge and intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge.
• The ability to travel is required. The amount of travel could be as much as 75% in a year.
