Location: Hazard, KY (services the Pikeville, Hazard, and Barbourville KY area)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm, with rotating on-call

About the role: 

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of routine building maintenance  and repair tasks at a level that does not require formal licensure. These tasks include but are not limited to one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, painting, grounds work, custodial, etc.). Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned. This position may require travel to other regional offices to provide maintenance support as needed. 

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three years of experience in building maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems and ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs of such systems.
• Knowledge and ability to operate mechanical floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums, carpet shampooers, carts, heat machine compactors, dollies, ladders, snow removal and related equipment.
• Knowledge of various cleaning agents and/or chemicals.
• Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, customer service oriented.
• Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
• A person of high level of integrity and discretion.
• Ability to function as a member of a team.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and with a diverse population.
• Ability to perform a variety of repetitive manual tasks that require agility and manual dexterity.
• Ability to use a computer and computer software programs such as Microsoft Office a plus.
• Is flexible, cooperative and demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working order, that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements, with personal auto liability insurance in compliance with the state insurance laws governing liability, property damage, and bodily injury. 
• Team members will be expected to comply with Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) Employee Health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
