The Job:

As a Field Engineering Manager, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as a remote employee. You’ll get to:

• Manage day-to-day activities of an FE team to include territory coverage plans, time use review, SalesForce CRM usage review, PEP
• Responsible for the talent development of an FE Team to include coaching in technical sales, territory management, presentation skills, jobsite coverage, field ride-alongs, management development, etc
• Track KPI progress of Field Engineering deliverables and coach accordingly for growth of Specified ANF
• Manage the Specification update process and review for the FE team through CRM
• Participate in the technical development of engineering literature and technical comparisons to support the FE team with Brewster Engineering, product development, and Marketing Teams
• Participate in product development planning and provide input on specified anchoring product needs and field team commitments for sales
• Provide on-call technical support for specified products including DeWalt and Elco
• Able to handle multiple priorities, organize, plan, and meet difficult deadlines, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Interpersonal, negotiation, follow-up, and documentation skills
• Excellent presentation skills in front of large groups
• Technical sales experience a plus and construction job site experience a plus

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil, Structural or Mechanical) or equivalent qualifications
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience in design engineering, technical support or technical sales role
• Previous experience working in the fastening or building construction industry preferred
• People management experience preferred
• 75% of time spent in the field with travel in the US
• 25% of time home-based – providing operational support and responsibility for East Coast Regional FE team.
