We are looking for brave, passionate, reliable people to join our company as a Field Engineer You will be performing:


OBJECTIVE: 

Field Engineer is responsible for installing, terminating, and testing low-voltage and communication cabling and

ensuring proper integration of electrical components that support the company’s Material Handling Equipment Systems

(conveyor systems, sortraks, hang sorters, tilt sorters, cross belt sorters, etc.). This role focuses on the physical

implementation of wiring and control systems, requiring precision, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards.

Expertise in wiring, troubleshooting and controls installation for automation and material handling systems.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Wiring Installation:
  • Install low-voltage cables for control systems, automation equipment, and material handling systems, including CAT5e/6, power cables, and communication wires.
  • Route and secure wiring through conduits, cable trays, and other containment systems per project blueprints.
  • Label and organize cables to ensure proper identification and ease of future maintenance.
  • Termination and Connections:
  • Terminate and connect wiring for PLCs, VFDs, control panels, sensors, and actuators.
  • Wire up field devices such as photo eyes, limit switches, encoders, and proximity sensors.
  • Verify proper grounding, polarity, and electrical continuity of connections.
  • Installation of Electrical Components:
  • Mount and wire control panels, enclosures, and junction boxes.
  • Install motor starters, relays, circuit breakers, and other control devices as per system designs.
  • Work with conveyor systems, sortation systems, and other material handling equipment to integrate electricaland control components.
  • Testing and Verification
  • Identifies, analyzes, and repairs systems failures.
  • Conduct cable testing, including continuity and insulation resistance checks, to ensure integrity.
  • Troubleshoot network devices (such as Scanners, Cameras, Remote IO stations) connectivity and troubleshoot network connections and cables using network testers.
