About the role

      

This position serves as a primary resource for field members and home office partners on Financial Associate (FA) revenue, commissions, incentives, and production credit matters. The role provides guidance and support on compensation policies, relationship management policies, commission and production credit calculations, reporting, and incentive programs. Responsibilities include researching, interpreting, and communicating compensation outcomes, resolving complex compensation issues, and ensuring accurate application of compensation policies and processes.

This can be a remote position within the US.

         

          

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as a primary point of contact for Financial Advisors and Field Leadership, providing compensation-related support through phone, email, and other service channels. 

  • Responds to advisor inquiries by researching compensation questions, explaining policies and procedures, and resolving issues in a timely and accurate manner. 

  • Processes and maintains advisor compensation split agreements, including creating, updating, validating, and researching split arrangements. 

  • Investigates compensation discrepancies by reviewing transactions, identifying root causes, and coordinating resolution efforts with internal business partners. 

  • Processes compensation adjustments and corrections while ensuring adherence to established compensation policies, procedures, and controls. 

  • Reviews new business submissions and related documentation to validate compensation-related data elements, including ownership, insured information, and advisor splits. 

  • Identifies and escalates compensation setup or processing issues that could impact advisor payments, helping to minimize delays and payment inaccuracies. 

  • Educates advisors on compensation programs, business rules, and common compensation scenarios to improve understanding and reduce repeat inquiries. 

  • Maintains accurate documentation of advisor interactions, research findings, and issue resolutions in accordance with departmental standards. 

  • Supports continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends, providing feedback on recurring issues, and assisting with updates to procedures and job aids.
