Developing and operating across North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, Vantage has evolved data center design in innovative ways to deliver dramatic gains in reliability, efficiency and sustainability in flexible environments that can scale as quickly as the market demands.</p><p></p><p>Site Operations Department</p><p>The Site Operations Department is responsible for the overall health of all mechanical and electrical systems, building maintenance, and performance of all data modules in our data centers.  The team is staffed 24 x 7 onsite with Critical Facilities Technicians (CFTs) working on shift.  This team is the face of Vantage to our customers and the guarantee of business continuity and excellence of Operations of our campus as well as the performance of our customer installations. Using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan and track maintenance activities, the Site Operations department is responsible for all preventative and corrective maintenance.  Our culture expects and rewards team performance that engages directly with the customers and the facility infrastructure. </p><p> </p><p>Essential Job Functions &amp; Duties</p><ul><li><p>Be the middle connection point between Vantage Site Operations department and Construction teams for progress tracking, streamlining communications, and adhering to project goals </p></li><li><p>Ensure the successful completion of ongoing construction projects across electrical systems (low voltage cabling, alarming, BMS connectivity, etc.) </p></li><li><p>Work directly with Vantage’s Director, Site Operations on project lifecycle, budget, and cost-saving opportunities </p></li><li><p>Oversee and coordinate work with contractors and local vendors on site. Ensure they meet project requirements and adhere to safety and quality standards</p></li><li><p>Ensure that electrical installations meet industry standards and project specifications</p></li><li><p>Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle</p></li><li><p>Provide regular progress updates to senior management and project stakeholders, including project status, budget, and safety performance</p></li><li><p>Complete ad hoc de-snagging project activities, manage defects, etc. </p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Job Requirements</p><ul><li><p>English and German language skills required </p></li><li><p>Working hours/days will be Monday-Friday (8:00 AM-5:00 PM)</p></li><li><p>Electrical qualification or certification</p></li><li><p>Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and safety regulations</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Physical activities and requirements</p><ul><li>Be on site at all times for activities </li><li>Must be comfortable walking construction and operations site around various equipment, machinery, and tools</li><li>Raised floor work – must be able to maneuver and work underneath or around various heights</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>We operate with No Ego and No Arrogance.
