Can you lead the delivery of complex and business critical applications to customers? Do you have experience managing projects across the full lifecycle from requirements definition to handover to Operations? Then you might be the Senior Project Manager we are looking for to join NNIT’s Custom Application Development area.

As our new Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role both in relation to our customers and internally at NNIT. The role is versatile and challenging with a high degree of responsibility and independence, where you will lead agile software development projects and support customers in turning business needs into digital solutions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving fixed-price and agile software development projects and ensuring successful customer deliveries.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead fixed price and agile custom application development projects from initiation to delivery  
• Contribute with project management expertise during sales and project startup phases  
• Facilitate project planning activities including estimation, resource planning, and risk assessment  
• Establish project governance, delivery structure, and project organization  
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, invoicing, risks, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle  
• Ensure successful execution of projects using agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe  
• Facilitate collaboration across developers, architects, testers, and business stakeholders  
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction  
• Support and motivate delivery teams to ensure a collaborative and engaging working environment  
• Drive transparency and communication across customers, teams, and management  
• Contribute to continuous improvements in agile delivery processes and project execution

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a candidate with strong project management capabilities combined with experience from agile software development environments.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Relevant educational background preferably at master’s level within IT, engineering, or business  
• Strong project management toolbox preferably supported by certifications such as Prince2, PMP, or equivalent  
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT application development projects  
• Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe  
• Strong understanding of custom application development and agile delivery models  
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills  
• Experience working with international delivery teams is an advantage  
• Professional proficiency in Danish and English both written and spoken
