About The Opportunity

The Maintenance A personnel are responsible for maintaining and repairing all machinery and equipment within the facility to keep in proper working order. Special projects may include installation of machinery, designing and fabricating special items and remodeling. Other work may include painting, housekeeping and grounds keeping. The maintenance person must work the necessary overtime as required. This position requires heavy lifting up to 60 lbs on a repetitive basis.

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain and repair facility according to preventative maintenance schedule
• Maintain and repair machinery and production equipment as need to keep equipment continually operating.  Perform emergency repairs, as needed.
• Design and fabricate special items as specified by work orders or through requests.
• Complete plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical and other project work as required or specified
• Performing painting, grounds keeping, housekeeping and other tasks to improve and maintain the appearance of the facilities and grounds
• Complete work orders in order of importance
• Participate in equipment installation and fabrication of custom parts
• Order and organize material and supplies on an on-going basis.  Contact with outside vendors required.
• Assist in the training and coaching of employees on proper maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Work the necessary overtime that is required and when other maintenance personnel are on vacation.

Pay Rate: $41.08

Shift Differential: $3/hr
