As a full-service provider, we offer Sanger DNA sequencing, gene synthesis, molecular biology, <span><span><span>high-throughput/next-generation</span></span></span> sequencing, bioinformatics, and GLP-compliant services. </p><p></p><p><b>Our Finance team is looking for a new talent, starting at the earliest possible time as Senior Accountant (m/f/d).</b></p><p></p><p><b>office based in Leipzig (Wiederitzsch)</b></p><p><b>Permanent, fulltime employment</b></p><p></p><p><b>How You’ll Add Value…</b></p><p>Join the Azenta Finance team as a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) for our Germany Multiomics Business, working with a global team of professionals to support the timely, accurate and insightful preparation of monthly reporting, as well as support annual audits and quarterly reviews and support internal control and compliance initiatives.</p><p>You’ll work with a global team and will be exposed to senior management as you develop knowledge about key business issues, support new initiatives, and identify opportunities to leverage technology. Grow personally and professionally while building a network within the life sciences industry!</p><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Do…</b></p><ul><li><p>Collaborate with other members of the Finance Team to prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial results, along with insightful analysis. This includes the preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and monthly intercompany tie outs, review of monthly consolidated results, the oversight of any unusual transactions, as well as reporting provided to help senior management understand the underlying business drivers.</p></li><li><p>Own the monthly cash reconciliation, Payroll and leases in accordance with ASC 842.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with the lab manager on the monthly inventory counts and perform related inventory account reconciliations.</p></li><li><p>Participate in regional statutory audit processes to ensure compliance with local, regional and country-specific requirements.</p></li><li><p>Ensures adherence to accounting policies and procedures in compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with the Global Finance Team to standardize and streamline recurring processes and data collection activities, establishing best practices that improve efficiency, and optimize the use of tec
