Lockheed Martin Aeronautics at Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking a Full-time Early Career Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for preparation and checkout of instrumentation system before each F-35 mission, attend flight mission briefings and give instrumentation status to team and pilot, monitor instrumentation system during aircraft startup from telemetry van, monitor flight operations via mission control room, coordinate modification efforts for instrumentation system, and program instrumentation system for required parameters for telemetry stream and on-board recording configuration.

Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired skills

Basic knowledge of Ethernet Protocol and Networks.

Experience with use of lab equipment such as logic analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters.

Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and process specifications
