<p><strong>What Impact You'll Have</strong></p> <p>GRVTY is seeking experienced Database Engineers to develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.</p> <p><strong>What You'll be Owning</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, implement, and maintain MongoDB databases supporting enterprise security automation initiatives.&nbsp;</li> <li>Support database information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis activities.&nbsp;</li> <li>Analyze and evaluate system improvements, optimization, development and/or maintenance efforts.&nbsp;</li> <li>Design and implement complex database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies.&nbsp;</li> <li>Optimize database performance, including indexing strategies, query optimization, and resource utilization.&nbsp;</li> <li>Implement and maintain database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.&nbsp;</li> <li>Configure replication, sharding, and high-availability solutions.</li> <li>Design the overall database structure to fit into the system's architecture.&nbsp;</li> <li>Create new workflows to automate existing processes as well as provide break/fix requests or updates.&nbsp;</li> <li>Lead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software.&nbsp;</li> <li>Monitor database health, performance metrics, and security compliance.&nbsp;</li> <li>Direct fulfillment of requirements from project inception to conclusion.&nbsp;</li> <li>Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation including document schemas, collection relationships (embedding vs. referencing), indexing strategies, sharding configuration, and data access patterns.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Must Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>10 years of experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.&nbsp;</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.&nbsp;</li> <li>5 years of DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.&nbsp;</li> <li>Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Pay Range:&nbsp;</strong>At GRVTY, we understand that compensation is influenced by many factors—such as geographic location, federal contract labor categories, wage rates, prior experience, skillset
