Assistant Professor of Business

Description

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College invites applications for a full-time, 10-month, tenure-track, assistant professor of Business to begin August 2024. Responsibilities include a 24-credit hour teaching load in in on-campus and distance learning formats, including introductory, upper-level and courses in human resources management and other business core classes. Additional responsibilities include mentoring students, contributing to the development and assessment of programs, and general service to the college. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business or related field, Terminal degree preferred. 
• College-level teaching and familiarity with distance education preferred.
• Commitment to teaching excellence and to the mission of a liberal arts college.
• The ability to also teach accounting, leadership or marketing courses highly desirable.
