IT SOX Senior Auditor

Have a passion for IT, compliance and travel? We are seeking a highly-motivated/ethical, self-starting IT SOX Compliance Senior Auditor to work on our SOX Compliance Team!


In this global role, our team members are critical to helping Expedia Group address SOX compliance responsibilities and risks in business and technology processes. The work requires proficiency in SOX compliance, knowledge of various control frameworks, including COSO and COBIT, and experience in designing and evaluating internal SOX control environments.

What You'll Do

  • ·Assist in the execution and coordination of the Company's SOX compliance efforts by partnering with control owners and Risk and Compliance teams and external auditors, including execution of the project plan, reporting, training and communications;

  • Collaborate with shared service teams, Risk and Compliance teams and control owners to force simplicity in our SOX control design related to new products, or changes to processes and systems;

  • Educate, evaluate and advise business partners on SOX risks, controls, and mitigation in a large, sophisticated and constantly evolving environment;

  • Bring others together to ensure that SOX risks and controls are appropriately considered, identified early and proactively handled in the project /software development lifecycle;

  • Collaborate with SOX partners to remediate control deficiencies;

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the various internal control frameworks (COSO and COBIT) and processes to identify risks;

  • Understand the information technology general controls (ITGC) structure and its application to Expedia Group (systems, applications and architecture) and be able to apply that knowledge to how it supports processes and procedures;

  • Build and distribute various SOX reporting documents;

  • Assist in the management of the SOX administration software;

  • Drive improvement and change in the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the SOX program

Who you are:

  • 2+ years experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • CIA, CPA, CISA, OSCP, CCSK, CISM, CISSP, CDPSE, IAPP, CRISC or similar

  • IT General Controls (Logical Access, Change Management, IT Operations, Program Development/SDLC);

  • Cybersecurity concepts, risks and practices (e.g., identity access management, vulnerability management, security governance, software development, auditing and logging) and security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27000;

  • Cloud operations (e.g., Cloud architecture, infrastructure, networks, secure compute workloads, resiliency, data encryption, account and key management, identity access management, software development in the cloud);

  • Data governance (e.g., frameworks, policies, third-party data risks, and data security and protection)


 

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $82,500.00 to $115,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.  Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
