Production Assistant

We are growing quickly and looking for someone to join our team as a Production Assistant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists with day to day print production projects
• Operate digital printers, laminators and plotters
• Conducts quality control from start to finish of jobs
• Prepare and check print files to assure they are print ready
• Communicate closely with our production manager, design and install teams to assure jobs keep on print schedule
• Sign fabrication, vinyl application
• Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
• Manual dexterity, fine manipulation and the ability to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery.
• Normal range of hearing and vision.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be trustworthy, detail-oriented and highly motivated
• Strong written, verbal communication
• Knowledge of some computer design software
• Ability to see and understand color / CMYK
• Strong organizational skills
• Previous experience in a digital production print environment preferred
• Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
