As an HR Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our Finland HR team, helping create a positive employee experience and ensuring smooth HR operations. If you are passionate about people and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
This position is based in Espoo, Finland and reports to the HR Director, Finland & Baltics. The role is fixed term until January 2026 and follows a hybrid work model, with flexible hours and the opportunity to work from our beautiful office in Keilaniemi a few days per week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an HR Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring seamless HR support throughout the employee lifecycle.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Serving as the main contact for payroll matters, coordinating with our outsourced payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
Supporting employees and managers with employment lifecycle topics, including onboarding, contracts, policy guidance, and responding to HR queries via Workday Help.
Managing HR data and benefits administration, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Booking and coding HR invoices for timely payments.
Handling payroll reporting to maintain compliance and transparency.
Collaborating closely with the local HR team on various HR projects and initiatives.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for a detail-oriented and people-focused professional who takes ownership of their tasks and thrives in a team-oriented environment. You have a proactive mindset, a can-do attitude, and a passion for delivering an excellent employee experience.
Key Qualifications:
Prior experience in payroll management or collaborating with outsourced payroll providers.
Understanding of employment lifecycle processes and HR data management.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills in both Finnish and English.
High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Prior experience with Workday is a plus.
