Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team at the Estancia Del Norte Hotel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.

- Ensure the quality and presentation of food meets hotel standards.

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and execute menu items.

- Assist in inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies.

- Participate in the training and development of kitchen staff as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Cook in a hotel or restaurant setting.

- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.

Requirements

Education/Formal Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management preferred.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.
• Familiarity with property management systems is a plus.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing outstanding service.
• Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
• Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office and reservation software.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
