Junior SQL Database Administrator

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a SQL Database Administrator to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will support our team of developers building the next generation of customer engagement systems for federal service agencies.

 

Required to be local to the Colorado Springs area.

This is a hybrid role and requires to be on-site in the Colorado Springs office 4 times per month.

 

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

• Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases.
• Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management.
• Install database management systems (DBMS).
• Provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 0 years' experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 4 years' experience. 
• US Citizenship required.
• Must have an Active DoD SECRET clearance.
• Experience in writing and tuning SQL queries.

• Experience in designing and implementing database structures.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in Oracle Database Administration.

• Experience in a large scale Federal IT Program.

• Experience with SAFe Agile delivery framework.

Target Salary Range

$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
