Your Mission: The Non-Medical Home Care Aid Recruiter is responsible for the full-cycle recruitment of compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides who will support our clients in maintaining their independence at home. This role focuses on sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates who have a strong commitment to quality care but do not provide medical services. As a key contributor to our recruitment team, you will ensure that our growing client base has access to skilled and trustworthy aides that align with our organization’s mission of fostering dignity and independence among our clients. The role reports directly to the Director of Senior Services and will partner with the Manager of Talent Aquisition for strategy and best practice and the Marketing and Communications team on sourcing and targeting strategies. Candidate Sourcing and Outreach (90%)
- Develop and implement strategies to source prospective candidates for non-medical Home Care Aide positions.
- Review resumes, applications, and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and fit with organizational values, with an average monthly target of generating 30 qualified candidates from the prospects.
- Build a strong network and maintain relationships with community organizations, workforce development programs, job fairs, and online platforms to generate a pipeline of diverse candidates.
- Utilize social media, job boards, and other digital platforms to post 12 job listings per month to attract potential recruits.
- Partner with the Marketing and Communications Department to:
- Utilize geofencing technology to source potential family caregivers.
- Facilitate a recruitment campaign targeting neighborhoods and populations that are aligned with our approved service areas
- Build a best practice for interview processes to maintain consistency and objectivity in candidate assessments and to support the interviewing Field Supervisors.
Onboarding and Compliance (5%)
- Collaborate with HR and program leadership to support the onboarding process for new hires, including necessary background checks, drug screening, and required training.
- Maintain proactive and regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, fostering positive engagement and responsiveness.
- Address any candidate’s concerns, providing information about the role, organization, and employment conditions.
- Support and provide counsel to the Senior Services leadership team in developing retention strategies and initiatives to improve Home Care Aide satisfaction and reduce turnover.
Data Tracking and Reporting (5%)
- Track recruiting metrics, such as time-to-fill, candidate conversion rates, and hire quality, to inform and improve the recruitment process.
