Reporting to the Senior Manager of IT Systems Engineering and partnering closely with internal teams such as Finance, People, and Sales, the Enterprise Systems Architect will lead the strategic design, development, and oversight of Spring Health's enterprise integration architecture. This role combines project and stakeholder management with technical leadership, driving system integrations and process automation to improve business functions and operational efficiencies across departments. The Architect will oversee system integrations (including Salesforce, backend systems, and middleware solutions), ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with long-term business goals.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the design and management of enterprise-wide integration architecture, ensuring platforms like Salesforce, backend systems, and third-party tools are fully integrated and scalable to support business growth.
- Own the architecture for Order-to-Cash (OTC) while also driving broader integrations across multiple systems, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency across the organization.
- Drive enterprise-wide automation initiatives, streamlining processes and reducing manual workflows to increase operational efficiency and improve agility.
- Provide architectural leadership, making strategic decisions on integration models (point-to-point, bus, hybrid) to align with business objectives and ensure future scalability.
- Oversee backend system integrations and middleware solutions, ensuring data consistency, operational efficiency, and a unified data architecture.
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring their work aligns with technical standards and business goals while negotiating contracts to meet strategic objectives.
- Establish and enforce SDLC and change management processes, ensuring that all system updates are compliant, fully documented, and align with both technical and business requirements.
- Regularly review integration flows to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with business rules and regulatory standards, including HIPAA, GDPR, SOC II, HITRUST,Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Finance, People, and Sales to implement system improvements, drive process automation, and support cross-departmental integrations.
- Shape the long-term integration strategy for Spring Health, ensuring the architecture evolves with the company's growth and technological advancements.
What success looks like in this role:
- Seamlessly deliver system integrations and automations that reduce manual processes by at least 20% and enhance cross-departmental collaboration.
- Systems using integrations, such as billing, invoicing, and reporting, are able to do so with near 100% accuracy.
- Successfully manage large-scale integration projects that align with Spring Health’s business objectives, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and compliant with regulations.
