Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Product Manager who is passionate about leading teams and building products that customers love, and the industry needs. If you have an entrepreneurial mentality, are keen to holistic thinking, and are driven by leading and helping others, we are looking for you! You will work in a dynamic and motivational environment, collaborating across multiple departments to troubleshoot, build, and launch new products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.
This is a Remote/Work from Home position reporting to the Director of Product Management.


What you will do:
• Managing a variety of product portfolios within the software and hardware space
• Gaining a deep understanding of the customer experience.
• Collaborating closely with all internal departments to ensure success for the entire organization and our customer base.
• Analyzing feedback, ideas, market and industry updates to fill product gaps and innovate.
• Owning the product lifecycle, including product/market research, prioritization, planning, positioning, requirements, roadmap development and product launch
• Developing product pricing and positioning strategies where necessary.
• Generating well defined business cases to create buy-in for leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Working closely with marketing on go-to-market strategies and developing product positioning and messaging.


Qualifications:
• BS degree in marketing, sales, engineering, or equivalent preferred
• Must have a min of 5 yrs of experience managing others in a product management role or function.
• Experience in translation of product strategy into requirements.
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams.
• Ability to self-educate and work with minimal assistance.
• Preferred experience in product management software such as AHA, ProductPlan, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
• Respectful and outstanding leadership skills that motivate colleagues to focus their energy on achieving business goals.
• Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and tactical operational levels. Works to achieve goals while overcoming obstacles and/or planning for contingencies.
• Strong analytical, planning and budgeting skills. Ability to influence others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel (up to 10%); will include s
