Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure team is building new Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies that operate at high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. This role is for the Oracle Cloud Marketplace team.  We are building new services for the Oracle Cloud Marketplace.  The overarching goal of our team is to make the Marketplace the preferred way to buy enterprise software to run on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ultimately driving billions in revenue. As we do that, we need to add many new features to Marketplace platform to cater to a wide variety of partner and customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer on the Marketplace team, you will be part of our development efforts as we build the technology platform that will act as the central marketplace for our cloud’s software offerings. You will be a core contributor on a team of software engineers working to grow and scale our service.

The Marketplace team will be responsible for building the services where our customers will go to purchase pre-configured software installations on the platform of their choice.  The challenges here are across the entire stack, from back-end distributed services operating at cloud scale, to e-commerce transactions, to the actual web apps that users interact with.  This is the perfect role for someone with sound computer science fundamentals (operating systems, data structures, object oriented design, REST APIs, HTTPS) and open to writing code across an entire stack, especially in a start-up style environment.

Basic Qualifications:

A Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
1-3 years of software development experience
Sound fundamentals in coding, testing, algorithm design, operating systems, problem solving, and complexity analysis
 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience building distributed cloud services and clould provider services
Experience with web UIs, virtualization and orchestration stacks

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $73,700 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
