The Asia Partnerships team is looking for a Strategic Partner Associate based in the USA to work with our Asia based Strategic Partner Managers (SPM) on western offices in US and Europe of the high impact Asian accounts. The responsibilities include establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships across the western region partner offices, and support the SPMs to identify opportunities and drive transaction execution, as well as support operational needs of partners in the western regionsYou will work in partnership with the lead Strategic Partner Manager in Asia to establish and develop relationships with the partners as well as within the internal Microsoft and Xbox organization globally, and create a network to support Asia Partners. You will have the opportunity to work across various teams in Xbox including product, engineering, marketing, finance, legal, sales, and others, as well as a broad set of additional stakeholders across Microsoft.  

 

Our Strategic Partner Management teams foster deep and rewarding relationships with our partners, help them bring their games to Xbox, and enable partners to achieve their goals and ambitions within the Xbox ecosystem. In this role, you will support the end-to-end execution across the western offices of accounts based in Asia. We are looking for individuals with organizational and communication skills who can drive efficiencies across a set of assigned accounts and the greater internal organization. You should have analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and be an effective communicator internally and with partners, able to drive consensus and prioritization. This role will work with the guidance of the Strategic Parter Manager of the account, and will report into a manager based in Japan.

 

The position is based in the United States, with consideration for onsite and/or virtual work flexibility and will require international and domestic travel. This description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this position.

Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for the daily account management responsibilities across a set of account offices in the western regions. Tasks include maintaining accurate information about each account, workflow approval, troubleshooting, resolution of miscellaneous partner questions, title information maintenance and account team workstream management. 
  • Operationalize action plans related to Strategic Account Plan(s) in partnership with Strategic Partner Managers to drive success for partners and Xbox. As part of this work, analyze our partners’ business within Xbox and Microsoft, as well as broader information, driving ongoing progress on Strategic Account Plan(s) and refinement. 
  • Serve as the information hub within each account team to gather and populate deliverable status and drive progress (ex. Business Reviews, Executive briefs, Partner engagements, etc.,), and act as the bridge between the western office operations and the Asia based teams. Ensure that in
