You’ll work closely with creative and operational teams to help build and protect the experiences we develop for players around the world.</span></p><p><span>We’re looking for a qualified lawyer with 5–8 years of experience in IP and commercial contracting within a globally operating, multicultural organization — ideally in gaming, media, e-commerce, or high-tech industries. The ideal candidate combines strong initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a creative, fast-evolving environment.</span></p><p><span>You’ll be part of our team of specialized legal counsel, partnering across all functions to provide practical, risk-aware legal solutions that enable innovation. This position is part of FunPlus’s Global Legal Department, with main offices in Switzerland and Beijing, and reports to the General Counsel, Western Markets, based at our global HQ in Switzerland.</span></p><p></p><p><span><strong>Your responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul> <li><p><span>Work closely with your global legal team members and partner with FunPlus business teams in our Western markets to manage, negotiate, and execute a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements.<br/><br/></span></p></li> <li><p><span>Support the management of our IP portfolio, IP matters and compliance, and related projects, primarily focused on our Western entities and markets.<br/><br/></span></p></li> <li><p><span>Proactively manage the day-to-day operational, contractual, and IP needs of our Western entities and studios in Western markets.<br/><br/></span></p></li> <li><p><span>Serve as a subject matter expert and provide both operational and strategic legal counsel on risk identification and mitigation strategies.<br/><br/></span></p></li> <li><p><span>Ensure that all agreements, operations, and business activities are conducted in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal corporate policies and processes.<br/><br/></span></p></li> </ul><p></p><p></p><p><span><strong>Your profile</strong></span></p><ul> <li><p><span><strong>Fluent command of English (written and spoken).</strong><br/><br/></span></p></li> <li><p><span>5–8 years of experience in a comparable commercial legal function, preferably within the gaming, media, or tech industries.<br/><br/></span></p></li> <li><p><span>Master’s degree in Law from a reputable European, UK, or US university.<br/><br/></span></p></li> <li><p><span>Strong service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships across diverse cultures and functions.<br/><br/></span></p></li> <li><p><span>Ability to simplify complex legal and business issues into clear, actionable advice and manage complex projects and negotiations while keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.<br/><br/></span></p></li> <li><p><span>Outstanding written and verbal co
