POSITION OVERVIEW:


We are searching for our next SUPER STAR ! As the Fitness Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for providing members and their children with a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for children to play and parents to feel comfortable while working out in the club. Organize and implement fun and entertaining activities and games for children.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet and service members in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Attentively and promptly respond to member needs.
  • Admit members by scanning their membership cards and appropriately respond to messages.
  • Answer and transfer phone calls in a timely & professional manner.
  • Ensure cleanliness and professional presentation of the club in the lobby, Café and Main desk.
  • Promptly greet walk in prospective members and quickly contact a Membership Coordinator.
  • Complete administrative duties, daily summary and filing.
  • Thorough knowledge of CSI software, assist members with questions, enter a kids club reservation, enter a guest and conduct point of sale functions.
  • Knowledge of all club programming and promotion of club programs.
  • Follow checklists, take initiative and assist other staff or departments, if needed.
  • Initiate, develop and maintain personalized relationships with members.
  • Quickly and efficiently respond to member questions, comments and concerns.
  • Completes all other duties as assigned.




Requirements

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

Performance will be evaluated by the Director using the Performance Evaluation CdB Form No.1006c (Rev 1/2000) wherein a satisfactory overall rating is considered as a minimum acceptable level of performance.


QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent

Must have customer service experience.

Basic Computer Skills.

CPR, First Aid and AED certified.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Must be able to meet the attendance requirements of the position.
  • Must not pose a threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds unassisted.
  • Must be able to deliver excellent customer service, externally and internally
