The NYU Nanolab at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Post Doctoral Associate to work on the development of innovative biosensors for wearable applications.

Expectations:
The successful candidate will primarily work on fabricating and characterizing field-effect transistor biosensors for sensing target analytes in sweat. The candidate will work closely with Prof. Davood Shahrjerdi and Prof. Elisa Riedo in accomplishing this goal. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience with nanofabrication of electronic devices and their electrical characterization. This position is at Tandon School of Engineering (Brooklyn, NY) at New York University.
Salary Range:
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this position is $62,500 depending on the candidate’s experience and qualification.
Qualifications
Candidates should have:

PhD degree in physics, electrical engineering, or a nanotechnology-related field. Creative, independent, motivated, and solution-oriented researcherStrong understanding of the physics of field-effect transistors

Extensive experience with cleanroom fabrication techniques, including e-beam lithography, electron-beam deposition, etching, and metrology techniques such as AFM

Strong communication skills and willingness to interact and collaborate closely with internal and external researchers
