Sr. Labor Planning and HR Analyst

We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven Sr. Labor Planning and HR Analyst to help drive labor planning excellence across our high-growth, field-based business. This role directly supports the Sr. Manager of Labor Planning and Analytics and will be instrumental in developing predictive workforce models, building performance dashboards, and aligning labor strategy with business goals across Sales, Install, Call Center, and Operations here at Renuity.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on analyst who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels in cross-functional collaboration, and brings deep experience in workforce data and forecasting tools.
What You’ll Do:
Support Strategic Workforce Planning:
Design and maintain department-specific labor models aligned to seasonal and business-driven demand.
Build predictive forecasts using historical performance, sales projections, and pipeline data.
Develop scenario-based staffing tools to support agile workforce decision-making.
Partner Across Sales, Customer Acquisition, and Field Ops:
Collaborate with leaders in Sales, Events, Canvassing, and Call Centers to align labor needs with growth targets.
Monitor staffing productivity and recommend resource reallocations to optimize ROI.
Assist in building staffing strategies that support lead generation and sales conversion outcomes.
Contribute to Production & Install Labor Strategy:
Help develop and maintain a hybrid labor model across W2 and 1099 install teams.
Support planning and scheduling processes based on pipeline demands and cycle times.
Provide hiring forecasts and headcount targets in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
Deliver Reporting, Insights & Dashboards:
Build dashboards to track headcount, utilization, KPIs, and staffing performance.
Present insights that inform business decisions, cost management, and operational efficiency.
Support the enhancement of data tools and labor planning systems.
Drive People Analytics Projects:
Assist in launching a Power BI dashboard for People Ops, including headcount, retention, and learning metrics.
Work with HR Business Partners to integrate hiring timelines, skill gap analysis, and turnover risk data.
Evaluate HRIS/ATS reporting systems and identify opportunities to enhance analytics capabilities.
Technology & Tools:
Use Power BI (DAX/Power Query), Excel, and workforce planning tools for reporting and forecasting.
Experience with SQL or Python is highly preferred for deeper workforce data analysis.
Navigate reporting within HRIS or ATS systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, ADP, etc.).
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, HR, or related field—or equivalent practical experience.
3–5 years in workforce planning, HR analytics, labor modeling, or a related role.
Proven experience supporting a mix of W2 and 1099 labor teams across multiple departments.
Advanced Excel and SQL skills (required); experience with Python, DAX, or Power BI strongly preferred.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a passion for using data to solve real-world workforce challenges.
Industry experience in construction, home services, or high-volume field operations is a plus.
What You’ll Achieve in the First 6–12 Months
Support a full audit of existing labor models and forecasting processes.
Deliver an initial predictive labor forecast across all major business functions.
Partner with Sales leadership to align workforce availability with campaign goals.
Contribute to a scalable hybrid labor model for Install Production teams.
Launch an MVP version of the People Analytics Dashboard in Power BI.
Identify technology and data enhancements for long-term workforce analytics success.
Become a trusted advisor to the Sr. Manager of Labor Planning and Analytics by surfacing workforce risks and opportunities.
