About the Role

Join the Center for Neurosciences as an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist I, operating EEG, EMG, and Evoked Potential equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating neurological conditions. You’ll work closely with our Electroneurodiagnostic Lab Manager and a collaborative clinical team in a patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform EEG studies, apply electrodes per the International 10–20 system, and document patient history.
   
• Conduct Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS/EMG), apply surface electrodes, and monitor instruments for accuracy.
   
• Identify and correct artifacts during testing to ensure optimal results.
   
• Prepare and educate patients, ensuring comfort and safety during procedures.
   
• Maintain accurate patient records, billing, and coding documentation.
   
• Adhere strictly to infection-control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma plus graduation from an accredited electroneurodiagnostic technology program—or equivalent formal training/experience.
   
• Experience: 1–3 years in electroneurodiagnostic testing, preferably in a medical practice. Eligible to sit for the ABRET registration exam.
   
• Skills & Abilities: Strong knowledge of neurodiagnostic equipment and procedures; ability to lift/position patients and collaborate in a team-oriented, patient-centric environment.

Working Conditions

• Stand or sit for 6–8 hours; occasional stooping, bending, and equipment movement.
   
• Neurophysiology department setting with minimal exposure to chemicals or disease.
