West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurology are recruiting a neurologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor) for United Hospital Center. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Bridgeport, WV.

As a full member of the WVU Health System, United Hospital Center is part of a broad, integrated network of doctors, hospitals, clinics, and specialized institutes across West Virginia, Southwestern Pennsylvania, Western Maryland, and Ohio. The 692,000-square-foot structure rises eight stories. It is designed around the environment with the patient, family, staff, and community in mind – which includes enhanced patient privacy, a high level of technology integration, and improved access to care. The acute care facility has 292 private inpatient rooms with a medical staff that consist of more than 381 physicians and providers.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of neurology primarily in the outpatient setting.  


Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure. Successful candidate must have completed a Neurology residency program and must be board certified/eligible in Neurology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
