Your contribution/mission

As Senior Internal Auditor you will report to the Internal Audit Manager and you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, compliance, and efficiency of our financial and operational processes. You will be responsible for conducting audits both independently and teamworking, evaluating the design and the implementation of the control environment and providing valuable insights to support the company's growth and risk management strategies.

As part of your key responsibilities, you will oversee:

• Audit planning: develop comprehensive audit programs, including risk assessments and testing procedures
• Audit execution: utilize your knowledge of professional standards and leverage your skills and experiences to execute audits across various functions within the Group, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
• Audit reporting: ensure that audit reports identify key issues, root-causes and related risks, and propose value-added recommendations from a management perspective. Prepare and maintain clear and concise working papers.
• Continuous improvement: participate in process improvement initiatives and provide feedback to enhance internal controls and operational efficiencies.
• Accountability: guarantee the timely and accurate completion of the assigned audit work.
• Communication: leverage your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain high-quality working relationships with a wide range of contacts, within a multicultural environment.
• Business acumen: improve your knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical sector to identify industry-specific risks, trends, and best practices. Stay updated on industry regulations and guidelines

Your profile

You have an Economics/Law/Engineering degree and 7/10 years experience in primary consultancy firms (Big 4 preferred) and global, complex manufacturing industries (Pharmaceuticals preferred).You have extensive knowledge of auditing techniques and you are available to travel when required.

Thanks to your experience you have gained excellent knowledge of the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (preferably Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)), and you are familiar with SAP (S/4Hana) and data analytics tools.

Your Italian and English are fluent, and you preferably speak another language. You feel comfortable in changing environment and fully able to adapt to new technologies and software.

Travel required: approximately 20-25% travel time across EMEA and occasionally to APAC and America.
