Vice President Enterprise Architect (m/f/d)

About the role

Your areas of responsibility:

  • Enable business / IT leaders to make investment decisions that balance and prioritize current operational demands, disruptions, and opportunities with the longer-term strategic vision of the organization

  • Provide technology guidance, road maps, principles, standards, and best practices 

  • Provide overall direction, guidance, and definition of IT architecture to effectively support the corporate business strategy and align closely with the Chief Digital Officer and Master Data Governance Organization

  • Support all architectural disciplines and champions’ architectural initiatives

  • Review existing business processes and establishes metrics to improve business processes, as well as support of all architectural disciplines under their direction

  • Oversee and manage LeanIX to support the digital transformation

  • Lead programs to develop, maintain, and govern the enterprise architecture across the organization

  • Works on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains including security, and data management platforms and AI

  • Develop and lead the EA review board and ensures that the solutions are compliant with target-state architecture models 

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Completed studies degree with focus on information technology e.g. computer science or business informatics or similar
  • Work experience including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning and operations
  • Leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture, business re-engineering principles and processes, and basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting
  • Strong Infrastructure / Network / Security experience and knowledge of enterprise architecture tools e.g. LeanIX
  • Will to shape work environment proactively and to work out complex concepts
  • Persistent person with excellent communication skills and persuasiveness through different hierarchical levels in matrix organisations 
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
