The F135 Development & Production group is thrilled to offer an opportunity for a Senior Manager. In this role you will actively track plans to develop, test and integrate Pratt & Whitney’s Sustainment Data Products and offboard software into ALIS / ODIN. You will be closely aligned with the F-35 Joint Program’s transition to ODIN and will closely monitor software, data and infrastructure and modernization efforts that are the foundations of ODIN. You will be a member of cross-functional teams and work in a dynamic environment that supports the F135 program’s new development efforts. Among those are planning and management support to the Engine Core Upgrade (ECU) team and monitoring software deployment for the activation of Usage Based Lifing (UBL) across the F135 fleet. Opportunities to interact with Pratt & Whitney business units, F-35 Program Office counterparts and industry partners occur daily.
What You Will Do:
- Manage project plans and funding for Pratt & Whitney’s development, test and integration with ALIS / ODIN software
- Align Pratt & Whitney teams with the F-35 Joint Program Office’s Integrated Master Schedule
- Coordinate with Pratt & Whitney stakeholders to capture software and data product requirements and register those with the F35 program office for development in ODIN.
- Represent Pratt & Whitney in external reviews with the F-35 Joint Program Office and Lockheed Martin and provide updates to Pratt & Whitney teams as required
- Monitor status of ALIS / ODIN hardware and software deployments
- Keep F135 teams informed of Modernization efforts for software, data and infrastructure during the F-35 Joint Program Office transition to ODIN
Qualifications You Must Have:
- BS/BA required
- 10+ years of experience in project management, logistics support and/or engine system sustainment
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Advanced degree is preferred
- Previous systems engineering role, or system integration experience
- Sound judgment, assertive influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and data management skills
- Ability to effectively foster partnering across functional organizations
- Strong leadership skills
- Familiarity with ALIS preferred
