About the role

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
  • 11 years of experience in Experiment Design and Measurement/Attribution.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, MMM, MTA, attribution) and Google advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, etc).
  • Experience in a client-facing role influencing across levels.
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and basic automation techniques (e.g., dashboards, automating custom reports, materializing tables).
  • Ability to analyze datasets and distill them into insights that are presented in a logical and compelling story.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver simple and compelling stories to audiences of all levels.

As the Principal Analytical Lead, you will work with companies consulting on measurement solutions, business opportunities, and growth mindset. In this role, you will use data and analytics to transform the businesses of companies around the world.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000-$203,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Consult client's/partner’s strategy in the areas of sales, marketing, or product development, and translate data into answers to business questions, or insights to facilitate business decision-making.
  • Develop and own analytical modeling for key client/partner projects, apply or customize analytical tools (e.g., dashboards) and frameworks to identify opportunities, and develop solutions to optimize client/partner business.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive business growth with clients/partners, conduct analysis and identify business opportunities, and support the development of go-to-market business pitch and marketing collateral.
  • Build and manage relationships with client/partner stakeholders across functions and levels, and own the relationship with the data/analytical stakeholders on the client’s/partner’s side.
  • Execute controlled experiments to gain insight into performance of ad investment.
